A mental-health response created for the Caribbean community

Hurricane Melissa has left families across the Caribbean dealing with uncertainty, emotional strain, and trauma. Many diaspora members in Canada are also experiencing stress, worry, and guilt while supporting loved ones from afar.

CIC is providing accessible, culturally safe mental-health support designed specifically for Caribbean families and diaspora communities.

This initiative is free, virtual, and available to anyone impacted.

What’s Included

  • Diaspora Healing Circles (Virtual Support Groups)

    Weekly guided group sessions led by trained mental-health professionals, focusing on:
